About the Role:
Reporting to the CEO, as our Vice President of Sales, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our sales strategies and driving exceptional results. Your deep understanding of the beverage industry and proven track record of successful sales leadership will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute robust business development strategies that align with our business goals.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Oversee contract negotiations and pricing strategies.
New Business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships and collaborations.
Team Management: Lead, motivate, and mentor the account management and direct beer sales teams
Industry Expertise: Leverage your extensive knowledge of the beverage industry to identify emerging markets and opportunities. Monitor industry, competitor and market news and trends.
Performance Metrics: Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
Operations: Collaborate with operations to ensure manufacturing capacity aligns with sales pipeline.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum 8-10 years of sales experience within manufacturing space, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Beverage industry experience is strongly preferred.
Exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is required.
Must be driven, strategic and customer focused with a knack for problem solving.
Proven expertise in understanding P&L, investment return and profit margin management.
Confident in creating, driving and setting a vision for metrics and team direction.
Able to travel up to 50%.
