POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to drive growth for Carolina Canners for our locations in Greenville, SC; Florence, SC; Cheraw, SC: and Montgomery, AL. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, highly organized, and committed to creating seamless recruitment and administrative experience for employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to source, attract, and hire skilled professionals for all levels of the organization.
- Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview processes.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely follow-up throughout the hiring process.
- Build out and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to its maximum potential.
- Ensure all candidate information and recruitment metrics are accurately recorded and analyzed for continuous improvement in our recruitment processes.
- Develop and train managers on interviewing techniques and utilization of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in Paycor.
- Coordinate all job offers with hiring manager.
- Represent CCI at career fairs, college/university events, and all other networking events to expand talent pool.
- Establish and maintain strong recruiting contacts with market area colleges, universities, technical colleges and other organization to reach potential employees.
- Engage hiring manages weekly with updates on available candidates and recruitment efforts. Ensure candidates have completed appropriate background and drug screening requirements.
- Complete recruitment reports as requested and needed.
- Coordinate and facilitate a comprehensive onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring all paperwork, compliance forms, and background checks are completed.
- Provide/Coordinate new hires with resources, schedules, and introductory training materials to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business or recruitment preferred.
- 3 years of related recruitment experience (manufacturing experience preferred but not required)
- Proficient in ATS systems, preferably in Paycor
ABILITIES
- Experience in recruiting at all levels of an organization including both entry and executive level positions
- Proficient in ATS systems; preferably Paycor.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail/accuracy with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality.
This position can be based out of either our Greenville or Florence, SC location. We will require some travel to our facility in Cheraw, SC to support and collaborate with the manufacturing leadership team.
Other travel is required to job sites, regional offices, and/or professional and community organization events.
