- Handle phone systems effectively, addressing calls promptly and professionally.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and managing correspondence.
- Support medical staff with basic clinical tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines in all patient interactions.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification processes and office management practices.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as Meditech.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
