Carolina Core FC Youth is actively seeking dedicated and experienced Youth Program Director  for both the boys' and girls' Junior Academy and Recreation programs for the 2025-2026 competitive season. The position is based out of the North Carolina Triad region.

Carolina Core FC Youth offers a comprehensive range of soccer programming, which includes recreation, youth academy, competitive and elite teams. We offer comprehensive playing pathways for all ages and abilities.  We are seeking a Director who is  passionate about developing young athletes and has the knowledge and experience to shape coaches and players to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coaching development: Foster a positive and supportive environment for the development of our coaches.. Provide them with the resources to teach the technical, tactical, physical, and mental pillars to  the players to help them reach their full potential.
  • Player Development: Foster a positive and supportive environment for the development of young athletes. Focus on the technical, tactical, physical, and mental growth of players to help them reach their full potential.
  • Coaching and Training: Plan, organize, and lead engaging training sessions that align with the club’s coaching methodology and philosophy. Develop training programs tailored to individual skill levels and player progression that can be used by our coaching staff.
  • Match Preparation: Ensure our coaches are prepared for matches, to teach and have our players apply training objectives that have been taught through training. Attend matches, providing feedback and guidance during game situations for our coaches and player.
  • Player Evaluation: Work with coaching staff to conduct regular player assessments and evaluations. Provide constructive feedback and collaborate with the coaching staff to create individualized development plans (IDPs) and tailored training.
  • Communication: Maintain open, transparent communication with players, parents, and club leadership. Address concerns and provide updates on player progress and team objectives.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date on the latest coaching techniques, trends, and methodologies. Implement innovative practices to enhance the performance of the clubs Recreation and Youth Academy Programs
  • Leadership: Lead by example with professionalism, sportsmanship, and a strong work ethic. Serve as a role model for young athletes and coaches both on and off the field.
  • Player Recruitment: Assist in identifying and recruiting talented players to strengthen the Youth Academy Program.
  • Technological Proficiency: Ability to use PlayMetrics software for communication, team formation, scheduling, registration and curriculum planning purposes.



Qualifications:
  • Coaching License: USSF “C” license or equivalent (e.g., UEFA, USC).
  • Coaching Experience: Proven coaching experience at the youth soccer level, with a successful track record.
  • Youth Soccer Knowledge: Strong understanding of the youth soccer landscape and college recruiting pathways.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to Player Development: Passionate about fostering the development of young athletes and committed to the club’s values.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with coaching staff, parents, and players.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check and comply with club and league policies.
  • Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
