Position/Title: Creative Content Media Intern
Under the Direction of: Chief Marketing Officer
Compensation: College Credit required *This position is non-paid*
Position Overview:
Carolina Core FC is an independent MLS Next Pro club based in High Point, NC. Our Creative Content Media Intern will assist with our digital marketing initiatives and campaigns. In the best interest of personal and professional growth, interns will learn and assist with creating both print & digital graphics, developing social media content, executing CCFC home match days (through social content and game-day experience), and connecting with the CCFC fanbase. Additional responsibilities may include events within 40 miles of CCFC Headquarters.
Job Duties:
- Assist in the creation of visual graphics, marketing materials, and social media posts
- Organize graphic and visual content
- Support planning and organizing various marketing campaigns both internally and between CCFC partners
- Assist in the management of CCFC's social media calendar
- Assist the marketing department during promotions, matches and events
- Research successful marketing strategies of other professional sports teams and brands
- Assist with social media coverage during CCFC home matches
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop & Illustrator)
- Basic photography skills are a plus.
- Ability to work and keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Positive mental attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Creative eye for design, social media content, etc.
- Knowledge of soccer is a plus, but not required
Internship Requirements:
- Currently attending college or university – in need of class credit
- Ability to attend and work each CCFC home match during school semester (February - May 2025)
- Occasionally work nontraditional hours, i.e. nights, weekends, holidays
