General Qualifications
The Guest Relations Specialist - Registration and Coordination must be a mature follower of Jesus, still growing and developing in his/her faith. He/she must be fully in accord with Carolina Creek Christian Camps (CCCC) mission statement, and statement of beliefs; committed to living these out personally, and instilling them in the organization. He/she must be of strong moral character and integrity.
Position Objective
The Guest Relations Specialist - Registration and Coordination will work with the Director of Guest Relations and Partnerships to lead the process of coordinating and registering groups all year for Carolina Creek. He/she will be an expert on the camper registration software, and will be able to assist all callers with any questions that arise. He/she will be able to deal with parents and group leaders, answering phones in a professional manner. He/she will have general knowledge of the camp program, and will be able to direct calls to the right person. He/she will be responsible to model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship in a manner consistent with CCCC’s mission, vision, and values.

Key Job Accountabilities
- Responsible for the process of registering campers for all of our programs including summer camp and other year-round and programmed retreats
- Assist for booking retreat sales including calling groups, answering inquiries, and completing contracts
- Assist with Accounting in the processing of payments for all groups
- Be an expert in the registration software, and helping parents and campers successfully navigate the registration process
- Answering questions from parents, campers, and group leaders in a professional manner
- Assist in answering phone calls and directing question to the right person in the organization
- Assist the Guest Relations department in creating SOPs relevant to the department
- Strong self-initiative to serve others and customers
- Lead tours of camp and the programs we offer to perspective groups
- Attend all required staff meetings and events
- Actively participate in and contribute to the broader camp programs of CCCC
- Actively engage and participate in the staff community through a godly attitude, words and actions
- Ability to work with other departments in handing off guest and camper details
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Reports to Director of Guest Relations and Partnerships
Qualifications
Education/Certifications/Licenses
- Must have a current valid driver’s license
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Work Experience
- Previous Camping experience preferred
- Previous Customer Service experience preferred
- Previous Sales experience preferred
- Previous Customer Management Software and Systems Leadership preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must possess strong communication skills with excellent telephone etiquette
- Must be confidential and discreet when dealing with sensitive information
- Must possess strong computer skills and an understanding of Google Drive and proficiency on the Microsoft Suite of software applications
- Must possess strong interpersonal relations skills
- Must be able to remain calm under stress and deal with conflict in a professional and courteous manner
- Must have excellent written communication skills for corresponding with pastors and parents
- Work independently, being able to be a self-starter
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Must possess emotional and spiritual maturity
- Must possess a developed sense of empathy
- Must be flexible with an ability to adjust and problem solve in challenging situations
- Able to engage in active listening
- A heart to serve wherever and whenever needed
Physical Demands:
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in hot and humid conditions. Requires sitting, standing, squatting, stooping, twisting, and ability to lift/carry anywhere from 15 to over 60 lbs.
Additional Requirements
- Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance.
- Satisfactory completion of background investigation, as well as ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
