Carolina Delivery is an established Charlotte based courier company with satellite operations throughout the Carolinas. We have recently opened our Raleigh NC office and looking for an experienced logistics professional to join our team as the Raleigh Operations Manager
The Operations Manager will be responsible for all daily functions. This is a hands-on position, so the ideal candidate should have experience in various areas of the courier industry such as customer service, dispatching & fleet management. Positive attitude, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail are a must.
Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Manage all operational and administrative tasks within the branch.
- Service is paramount – maintaining our high standard of customer service.
- Work together with sales and other managers to grow this office.
- Build, evaluate, and optimize delivery routes.
- Interview, contract and train courier drivers.
- Hire and train new employees.
- Build relationships with customers and vendors.
- Compliance & safety management.
