Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the primary liaison between our surgeon and patients, ensuring a seamless, informative, and personalized experience throughout the surgical journey. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment without the need for micromanagement.
The Patient Care Coordinator will guide patients from their initial inquiry through surgery and post-operative care, offering warmth, empathy, and expert knowledge to help them feel confident and supported every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the main point of contact for surgical patients, providing clear communication and compassionate support throughout their journey.
- Educate patients on procedures, expectations, recovery timelines, and financial considerations.
- Manage patient consultations, scheduling, and follow-ups to ensure an exceptional experience.
- Collaborate closely with the surgeon and medical team to coordinate patient care and streamline the surgical process.
- Ensure all patient documentation and preoperative requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Support patients with financing options and guide them through payment processes.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and warmth in all patient interactions.
- Contribute to a positive, team-driven environment where all members work together to provide the best patient outcomes.
