Carolina Legal Staffing is seeking a Legal Specialist to join its team in Greenville, SC. This position is responsible for the handling of a group of cases from the day they are retained by the firm, to the day that our clients are compensated.
Responsibilities
- Complete case functions to increase settlement value and drive case towards settlement.
- Involvement in the improvement of systems and functions tied to job functions firm-wide.
- Advocate for our clients needs medically, ensuring they are able to receive the best care possible.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of law and legal processes
- Experience in handling a pending inventory of cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and address legal issues
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation
- Experience in litigation and dispute resolution is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field is preferred
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
