What are the responsibilities and job description for the Textile Machine Operators position at Carolina Narrow Fabric?
Job Duties:
Operates looms as assigned
Threads up fill yarns and catchcord yarns appropriate to style
Draws in or ties in new warps at warp change
Replaces broken ends, straightens out warp roll-ups, and fixes misdraws
Monitors the tape, periodically checking the edges of the tape and the width of each tape on the loom
Monitors the filling to ensure the proper filling yarn is used for the style being run
Notifies the fixer if the width is not within tolerance or if there is any other problem with the tape
Doffs tape and completes a doff ticket for each box
Required Experience:
Previous experience preferred
10 hour shifts Monday thru Thursday
10% shift differential for night shift
Salary: $12.50/ hr.
