What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Carolina Nephrology?
Under the direction of the Assistant Chief Financial Officer the Bookkeeper will be responsible for ensuring that all bookkeeping activities are properly recorded in the accounting system. We are looking for someone with 7 to 10 years of experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Under the direction of the Assistant Chief Financial Officer, manage all Accounts Payable, paying bills via paper check, bank ACH, payment on vendor portals or via charges to AMEX.
- Responsible for effectively managing and recording all deposits, which includes recording all ACH and paper deposits in all accounts.
- Responsible for reconciliation of all bank statements and AMEX statements.
- Responsible for all month-end, quarter-end and year-end journal entries as needed.
- Maintain electronic filing of all accounting data.
- Prepare compliance returns as needed for sales tax, property tax, 1099s and other returns as needed. Prepare yearly city business licenses for Greenville, Greer, Easley, and other cities as appropriate for the various office locations.
- Assists the Assistant CFO in accounting for all joint venture and real estate entities.
- Provide support in the setting up of accounting processes for Carolina ASC LLC and CN Clinical Research LLC.
- Manage deposits, accounts payable, account receivable for Carolina ASC LLC and CN Clinical Research LLC.
- Support month end process for all 10 entities.
- Provide back-up to Assistant CFO.
