We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team! We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant in our Midtown Charlotte location. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in a busy neurosurgery practice. New graduates will be considered based on previous experience and capabilities. You must be able to multi-task and remain flexible to ever-changing physician and patient needs. This position requires excellent communication skills with all levels of patients and staff, strong decision-making skills, and is a self-starter who can work effectively in a team environment.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Rooms patients; obtains vitals, medical history, medication records, and chief complaint.
- Assists physicians and APPs with clinics and various procedures.
- Maintains and updates patient records using EMR. Experience with Next Gen is a plus.
- Completes phone triage.
- Performs routine office procedures.
- Provides patient education.
- Complies with all our processes and HIPAA regulations.
- Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals.
- Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
- Other duties as assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request.

Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm with some need for flexibility based on business needs
