What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Carolina Orthopedic Rehab?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. From scheduling/setting up patients, insurances, billing and posting accounts receivables. You will be responsible for completing multi-level tasks in a professional and timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Run front office scheduling, answering phones, running the billing systems (claims and payments)
- Serving our patients with a positive attitude, hospitable experience and an energetic work ethic
- Run monthly reports for owner reviews
- Order office supplies as requested
Qualifications
- Knowledge of EMR, ERA's and EFT's
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Requires someone with experience in the overall medical office daily operations
- Ability to learn quickly
