Overview
Carolina Poly, located in Westminster, SC, is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our team. Carolina Poly – Westminster, a reprocessing facility, is a new addition to an established nationwide manufacturing company that can provide growth and advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Manage a maintenance staff in a facility operating 24 / 7.
- Responsible for working with operations when planning equipment alterations and propose upgrades to existing machinery when needed.
- Supervise the planning of plant and equipment maintenance and repair. Ensure that all repairs and projects are done in a safe and timely manner.
- Ability to instruct maintenance personnel in theory and practical applications.
- Develop technical training and other maintenance practices to help eliminate downtime and improve employee morale.
- Represent the maintenance department in staff meetings.
- Identify and solve leading downtime contributors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
- Five years' experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment required.
- Three years in leading and directing a staff of maintenance personnel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The aptitude and desire necessary to be a good student of Carolina Poly, Inc. processes and procedures.
