Inventory Control Specialist

Description: The Inventory Control Specialist at Carolina Precision Technologies (CPT) Warminster supports finishing & inventory management activities. These responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): shipping, ERP transaction completion, inventory management, raw material handling, document completion/scanning, cleaning parts, assisting with assembly and laser marking.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
- Inventory Management
- Perform inventory transactions in ERP system related to work orders
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory
- Perform raw material counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy
- Keep inventory cabinets organized
- Participate in year-end inventory counts
- Kitting
- Verify part availability and perform transactions in system
- Pull parts and complete physical kitting to verified quantities
- Coordinate movement of parts with team.
- Raw Material
- Issue raw materials to work orders
- Maintain the raw material cage
- Receive raw material
- Shipping
- Perform the Visual transactions required to process orders and ship products
- Report issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
- Clean and package parts and ship them
- Create the required paperwork for shipping: COC's and Certs
- Review paperwork for accuracy
- Closing jobs
- Review and signoff the job packets after product is shipped to comply with the requirements of ISO13485
- Scan, file, organize and save job packets to the server
- Highly organized individual with unparalleled attention to detail
- 2 years minimum shipping/receiving and/or inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small.
- High School Diploma or GED
- PC skills, proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Must be able to type proficiently and navigate Windows File Explorer
- Preferred but Not Required:
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, and FDA requirements
- Experience with ERP systems (Preferably VISUAL)
