Duties
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Utilize inventory management software, such as SAP, to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and implement improvements.
- Perform root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and develop corrective actions.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to facilitate efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
- Operate forklifts safely for the movement of heavy items within the warehouse.
- Generate reports using software tools to present inventory metrics to management.
- Assist in the buying process by providing insights on stock levels and product turnover.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory control or management within a warehouse environment.
