Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and have experience working with young children in a structured childcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment for two-year-olds.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
- Support toddlers in learning foundational skills, including communication, problem-solving, and self-help abilities.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and co-teachers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and structured classroom in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and assess child development, communicating progress to parents and administration.
- Adhere to all South Carolina childcare licensing regulations and Carolina Prep policies.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare facility in South Carolina.
- Strong understanding of child development and best practices for working with children.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
