What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Cabinet Designer position at Carolina Renovation Warehouse?
We are growing again and are now looking for an experienced Residential Kitchen and Commercial Designer to join our team. Carolina Renovation Warehouse is a renovation retailer specializing in kitchen and bath including in flooring, custom cabinets, and hardware. We have five brick and mortar locations in the greater Charlotte area with plans to continue to expand into 2025. This role will play a pivotal role in continuing and developing our strong kitchen cabinet sales.
Responsibilities- Flooring and Contractors:
- Build a book of business of home flippers, property managers, home builders based around kitchen cabinets, countertops, and flooring
- Put together quotes and bids
- Close new business and maintain that business
- Upsell where possible to increase deal size
- Forecast customer needs
- Meet with customers face to face whether on the job site or in store as needed
- Work across departments to ensure open communication and expectations are met
- Follow up with leads and customers on new opportunities they are working on
- Travel to customer sites and take measurements as needed
Responsibilities- In Store Cabinet and Countertop Opportunities:
- Take incoming emails and calls from all stores that need quotes for customers on cabinets and countertops
- These include comparison quotes and rough estimates
- Follow up with customers on quotes sent to them via phone call, email, and text
- Update stores on opportunities that they have outstanding
- Coordinate with stores and customers to ensure smooth process from quoting, to purchase, to delivery
- Update CRM with opportunities and keep it up to date
- Schedule in home consultations for outside sales rep and maintain communicate with customers with updates and changes to their appts
- Create layout/designs for customers using ProKitchen software for both inside and outside sources
- Input orders to appropriate vendors with correct information for the customer
- Update customers with delivery information and notifications from vendors
- Assist customers with any issues post delivery and assist Project Manager with renovation projects as needed
Location:
- Based onsite in Charlotte, Gastonia, Shelby, Lincolnton, or Hickory- work with District/Store Manager to identify best locations during the week/ month
- Hours are 9am-5pm or as needed- some weekends may be required based on customer request
- Attending trade shows during the night and weekends are required- these will be as we see see fit
Pay and Benefits:
- $50K Base Salary depending on experience
