Carolina Therapeutics, PLLC, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. As an interdisciplinary practice specializing in speech therapy, feeding therapy, and early intervention, we provide comprehensive services to children in their homes throughout the greater Asheville area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine individualized treatment plans for children.
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to children with a variety of developmental challenges and disabilities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic care for each child.
- Develop and implement effective treatment interventions to enhance children's fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and overall functional independence.
- Deliver therapy services in both clinic-based and home-based settings, adapting to the unique needs and environments of each child.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of North Carolina.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of pediatric speech therapy principles and practices.
- Preferred minimum of one year of clinical experience; new graduates with a genuine interest in pediatric therapy are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to travel within the greater Asheville, NC area to provide in-home therapy services.
