Job Description :
We are seeking a Lead Machine Operator for a peanut processing plant in Elizabethtown, NC. This position is responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety while leading a team on the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate should have experience in machine operation, leadership skills, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and guide machine operators to maintain efficient production.
- Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot processing machinery as needed.
- Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and quality standards.
- Monitor production output and maintain accurate records.
- Train and assist new employees on proper procedures and machine operation Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team leads.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
