We are seeking a professional with experience in business development and client service relationships to join our team as a Water Industry Development Manager.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in developing new business opportunities in the water industry and managing client relationships. They will be responsible for leading teams to prepare proposals, conducting interviews, and negotiating contracts with clients.
**Responsibilities:**
• Develop significant relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Lead teams to prepare proposals, conduct interviews, and negotiate contracts with clients.
• Maintain extensive contacts with key engineers and officials of other organizations and companies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve marketing goals.
• Participate in exploration of subject areas, definition of scope, and selection of problems for investigation.
• Assist with training and mentoring internal staff.
• Some travel is required.
**Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Florida.
• 15 years of professional experience in the water industry.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities in the water industry.
• Experience delivering water and wastewater treatment, collection systems, transmission/distribution, pipeline rehabilitation, and/or pump station projects.
**Estimated Salary:** $160,000 - $210,000 per year.
