Job Summary : Lead, manage, and coordinate daily operations of the Case Management department in collaboration with the Manager / Director. Manages daily staffing and department assignments, schedules, PTO requests, and assists with holiday staffing. Assist with managing complex cases, long stay patient needs with manager / director assistance. Serves as backup in absence of the department manager / director. Serves in staffing approximately 50% of time and when needed. Assists with Cares Culture with department staff as appropriate.
Qualifications : Current RN license to practice in NC (NC license or multi-state (compact) license). BSN required. Case Management experience required. Demonstrated leadership skills, effective communication skills, ability to deal tactfully with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professionals, and families. Ability to manage, coach, and motivate staff with positive interactions and results. Certification preferred.
