CaroMont Health is hiring a Full-Time Athletic Trainer to work Varied Shifts within our Sports Medicine Outreach team through CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC!
Sign-on Bonus up to $10,000 based on experience!
*This position has No On-Site Clinical Based Hours*
Athletic Trainer Roles and Responsibilities:
- To coordinate and provide sports medicine services in the community, schools and therapy clinics.
- Performs a wide variety of athletic training evaluation and procedures in the care and treatment athletes.
- Coordinates and works closely with school officials including Athletic Director, Coaches, CaroMont Health Sports Medicine Coordinator, Director Rehab Services and Service Line Director to provide Sports Medicine Services and program development and growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university.
- NCBATE licensure as well as NATA Board of Certification required. 2-3years in Athletic Training including on Field experience preferred.
- Considerable knowledge of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Terminology, Procedures, and Techniques.
- Thorough skill in performing athletic training procedures.
- Ability to deal tactfully with family members, athletes, coaches, school employees, physicians, community and hospital personnel.
- Considerable judgment required in working with athletes and performing treatments
