Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Night Auditor / Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is responsible for handling front desk operations while ensuring the accuracy of nightly financial audits. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of night auditing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during overnight shifts. Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a flexible schedule to cover shifts as needed, is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-of-day financial reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are balanced and accurate.
- Audit and verify daily revenue postings, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Generate and distribute nightly reports for management.
- Ensure accuracy in financial records, guest folios, and payment processing.
- Perform all Front Desk Agent duties, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest assistance.
- Prepare the front desk for the morning shift by organizing reports and updating records.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Night Auditor in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong financial and accounting skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in hotel management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a flexible schedule to cover shifts as needed.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as needed.
