We are currently seeking a Residential / Commercial Service Electrician (Min 3-Years Exp) to perform work on our various jobs in the Dekalb area. Our service area : 25-30 miles in / around Dekalb.

Our Customers : Condo / Apt Buildings, Townhomes, Single Family Homes, Multiple Unit Residences, Commercial Properties, Office Buildings / Retail Spaces, Billboards / Wallscapes / Outdoor Signs.

Many of our customers are repeat business and need some assistance from a professional / eager Service Electrician who can help with our current influx of steady work.

Responsibilities :

Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
Troubleshoot motor and control systems, circuits, etc.
Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
All types of conduit-bending & wire-pulling
Adhere to all quality and safety codes including City of Chicago Codes
Must be versed on OSHA safety / climbing / electrical circuitry

Qualifications :

Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals

Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Must be able to work independently and able to follow directions

Must have dependable truck / van [Able to haul ladders & misc. materials]

Must be willing to travel to various projects during daytime hours M-F for service calls

Possible evening & weekend hours and / or Saturday & Sunday for service calls

Applicant must able to speak / write / read English fluently

Clean-cut with NO History of alcohol and / or substance abuse

Must be able to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle background check.
