PRIMARY DUTIES:
To repair and construct refractory linings using fire brick, ceramic fibers, and castings on all types of furnaces, thermal barriers and hot boxes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a minimum of three years’ experience in Refractory installation.
Must be able to electric weld, acetylene burn, work from engineer drawings, and operate industrial vehicles.
Must be capable of working from heights, and in various environmental conditions.
Must possess a valid drivers’ license.
Successful candidates must be willing to upgrade their knowledge and skills as new technology and methods are introduced, including attending training schools.
Candidates must meet the ANSI Fall Protection Requirements.
Testing will be administered to qualified candidates who meet the above criteria.
