Member Service Representative

Established in 1954, Carpenters Credit Union is a full-service, not-for-profit financial institution serving Union UBC workers across the United States. Universal Associate

• We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our team as a Member Services Representative. This is an on-site position working at our branch office in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
• Provide a range of financial services and assistance in lobby; answers inquiries, process transactions, provide problem resolution and education on the benefits of credit union membership
• Deliver exceptional customer service to the credit union’s current and prospective members with a friendly and professional approach
• Maintain complete and current knowledge of the credit union’s products and procedures and regulatory/compliance issues to provide consistent and accurate assistance

Candidates for this position should:

• Be outgoing and have a can-do attitude
• Be a good communicator who will contribute to a positive team environment
• Be passionate about helping our members attain financial success and our associates attain professional success
• Be willing to participate in community and business affairs, as necessary, to contribute to the image of the Credit Union

Qualifications:

• 2 years of customer service experience in a financial institution, preferably a credit union
• Phone center experience is a plus
• Familiarity with the standard products and services offered by financial institutions, including loans, deposits, electronic banking, etc.
• Must be a consummate customer service professional who is skilled at building rapport and genuinely enjoys helping people
• Excellent phone etiquette with a helpful and friendly demeanor and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a plus
• Strong computer literacy with ability to quickly learn programs and software

Because of this, evenings or weekend hours may be required once in a while, and there my occasionally be some travel opportunities.
