Overview:
The Receptionist position is a full-time position that is responsible for providing professional customer service to participants, and administrative clerical support to the Management Team. The Receptionist duties include, but are not limited to, punctuality is a must for maintaining the reception area and welcoming visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone, and answering/referring inquiries to the correct person and/or department. This position reports directly to the Eligibility/Participant Services Manager. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Propriety software database research Opening mail
- Data entry and other administrative assistance duties as needed
- Photocopying, scanning, filing, faxing and collating documents
- Creating forms in Excel and/or Word
- OCR – Concerting PDF documents to Word documents
- Translation of website content and documents as needed (from English to Spanish)
- Maintain and distribute the daily “Company Absence Report”
- Maintain and update all Medical and Dental plan benefits (by plan & state) in preparation for open enrollment
- Process address changes and creation of forms
- Employer Accounting Dept. Assistance (non-PHI):
- Supplemental dues processing
- Receiving vacation forms, Vacation checks pick up (copies of ID, check(s) and participant signatures)
- Checking bays system for receipt of vacation forms
- Provide participants with print out of work hours
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Working knowledge in Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of 8x8 telephone system is preferred but not mandatory
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong telephone etiquette and “people skills”
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including written communications
- Proficiency with 10-key by touch
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in diverse work environment with diverse walk-in clients
- 5 years related experience is preferred but not mandatory
- High School Diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.66 - $26.12 per hour
