Carpet Diem is looking for a competent individual with warehouse operations experience to work in our warehouse. This includes maintenance, shipping, receiving, stocking, and tracking inventory. Safety is a top priority at Carpet Diem so following safety programs and processes to ensure the safety of our people is of utmost importance.

Due to the daily interaction with Spanish and English speaking installation contractors and business partners, it is preferred if that the candidate speak both English and Spanish.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Maintain Warehouse Standards and Compliance:

• Maintain standards of safety and cleanliness by complying with established warehouse policies and procedures.

• Uphold quality and accuracy standards with the proper handling, storage and selecting of products.

• Conduct thorough inspections and verification of all incoming and outgoing materials.

• Work efficiently in a safe and accurate manner.

• Maintain accurate records with the proper documentation of materials and other warehouse related information.

• Attend warehouse and training meetings. Maintain all required warehouse certifications.

• Effectively communicate and coordinate with team members, customers, subcontractors, and vendors in a professional manner.

Performance Indicators

• Ability to follow safety protocols to ensure the safety of oneself and others.

• Follows warehouse procedures and works accurately to ensure the quality of their work and of our processes.

• Complete tasks efficiently within reasonable timeframes.

• Supports the Carpet Diem culture by reinforcing our core values in their interactions and following our established policies and procedures. Technical Skills / Experiences

• Forklift certification required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.

• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Basic mathematical and computer skills.

• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

• 1-year of warehouse or equivalent experience preferred.

• Bi-Lingual Preferred (English and Spanish).

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Compensation / Benefits:

• Wage Classification: Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt

• Starting Wage: $20.00 - $22.00 / HR depending on experience

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
