We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Social Media Content Creator. This part-time role is on-site in Lubbock, TX and offers flexibility and the opportunity to showcase your creativity while contributing to our mission of serving people through our customer-centric approach. As a member of the Carpet Tech team, you'll have the chance to leverage our established brand and reputation to reach and connect with our audience, fostering engagement and community growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement organic social content aligned with Carpet Tech's marketing objectives, emphasizing the representation of our people, culture, and processes.

• Create visually appealing and compelling video content showcasing our team members, daily operations, and behind-the-scenes processes, fostering connection and trust with our team and our audience.

• Generate organic content ideas that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and foster community growth, with a focus on authenticity and relatability.

• Collaborate closely with team members to capture authentic moments, encourage spontaneity, and showcase the unique aspects of our company culture.

• Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and optimize content strategies based on insights and feedback, ensuring continuous improvement and relevance.

Qualifications

• Education: Some college coursework or a college degree in marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or a related field is preferred. While formal education is beneficial, relevant experience or a strong portfolio may also be considered.

• Social Media Skills: Understanding of major social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and familiarity with their features, trends, and best practices. Ability to create and curate engaging content across different platforms.

• Creativity: Demonstrated creativity and a keen eye for design, with the ability to develop visually appealing and engaging content. Proficiency in graphic design tools, photo editing software, and video editing software.

• Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks and deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

• Team Collaboration: Willingness to collaborate with team members, accept feedback, and contribute ideas to brainstorming sessions. Ability to work independently when needed and take initiative to drive projects forward.

• Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and stay updated on emerging social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices. Willingness to experiment with new content formats and strategies to optimize engagement.

• Passion for Social Media: Genuine interest in social media platforms and digital marketing, with a desire to build a career in the field. Enthusiasm for creating engaging content and connecting with online communities.
