Summary
We are seeking an Estimator to join our dynamic team at Carpets Unlimited. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing project requirements and providing accurate cost estimates to ensure successful project execution. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, project specifications and requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Conduct visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify project scope and expectations.
- Utilize software tools for estimating and project management tasks.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize costs.
- Communicate effectively with sales staff, customer's and installers thru out the installation process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an estimator in the construction or flooring industry.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.
- Familiarity with estimating software is a plus.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with clients and team members.
