Job Summary:
As a manager of our retail store, this position is responsible for inventory management, merchandising, loss control, and personnel development.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Ensure quality control standards are met on a daily basis
· Assist with verifying daily invoices and following up on product credits
· Train employees and provide performance feedback
· Oversee daily rotation of perishable inventory
· Lead by example, and provide employees with clear expectations and timely feedback
· Scheduling, hiring and maintaining the performance standards of retail staff
· Ensure daily and assigned tasks are accomplished
Required Skills / Qualifications:
· 3-5 years supervisory experience required
· Ability to utilize team members to rework and reset displays during changing seasons
· Self-motivated individual who leads by example
· Outstanding merchandising and display skills
· Ability to effectively delegate and follow-through to ensure tasks are completed to satisfaction
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Excellent time management and organizational abilities
· Availability to work weekends and adjust hours seasonally
· Previous produce or garden center experience preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
· Pay $80,000 - $110,000
