Job Summary

As a manager of our retail store, this position is responsible for inventory management, merchandising, loss control, and personnel development.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensure quality control standards are met on a daily basis
• Assist with verifying daily invoices and following up on product credits
• Train employees and provide performance feedback
• Oversee daily rotation of perishable inventory
• Lead by example, and provide employees with clear expectations and timely feedback
• Scheduling, hiring and maintaining the performance standards of retail staff
• Ensure daily and assigned tasks are accomplished
  
  

Compensation And Benefits

• Pay $80,000 - $110,000

Requirements

• 3-5 years supervisory experience required
• Ability to utilize team members to rework and reset displays during changing seasons
• Self-motivated individual who leads by example
• Outstanding merchandising and display skills
• Ability to effectively delegate and follow-through to ensure tasks are completed to satisfaction
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Availability to work weekends and adjust hours seasonally
• Previous produce or garden center experience preferred
