Parts Counter Person

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Counter Person to join our team. As a Counter Person, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their automotive needs. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products or services
- Provide product recommendations and answer customer inquiries
- Process customer orders and ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
- Assist with sales management by promoting special offers and upselling products
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics to assist customers with troubleshooting
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and taxes accurately

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail or dealership environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in inventory control and order fulfillment processes
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics is desirable but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
