This strategic role involves overseeing all accounting operations, providing financial leadership, and serving as a key advisor to the executive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable departments
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic financial decisions and cost accounting initiatives
- Develop and maintain robust cash forecasting models and financial planning strategies
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage regulatory compliance
- Oversee the annual budgeting process and ongoing budget management
- Implement and optimize accounting processes and controls
- Develop and track key financial performance metrics
- Manage tax planning and compliance reporting
- Build and mentor high-performing accounting teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP principles and international finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to various stakeholders
- Proven experience in project management and process improvement
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and technology systems
