We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to fill the position of a Assistant Controller. This is a pivotal role that is responsible for supporting the Controller in managing and overseeing all facets of our financial operations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our accounting information, providing strategic financial analysis and insights, and contributing towards the achievement of our financial objectives.
Responsibilities
As a Assistant Controller, your primary responsibilities will include
- Assisting in the preparation and presentation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conducting detailed financial analysis to identify trends, assess performance, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Managing the budgeting process, including the development, analysis, and review of budgets.
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Collaborating with the Controller in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Participating in the management of the company's financial systems and processes.
- Coordinating with external auditors and managing internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assisting in the management of the company's cash flow and forecasting.
- Using financial software and Microsoft Excel to optimize financial functions and improve efficiency.
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you should possess
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
