In this role, you will be responsible for developing creative solutions for machining simple and complex parts, weldments, and assemblies. You will handle manual machine setup and operation, including Lathe and Mill machines. You will define practical uses of tooling options and processes with every project, as well as define speeds and feeds per material specifications. Additionally, you will work with machine measuring tools and measurements, such as calipers and micrometers.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of prior experience in setup and operation, knowledge of fabrication equipment typical to the industry, and familiarity with using equipment such as saw cutting, shearing, and drilling. A flexible and adaptable approach to work and ability to solve problems is essential.
