About this role
Carrier is looking for a Product Specialist – Marketing to join the Commercial HVAC liquid cooling product marketing team.
The Product Specialist – Marketing will be tactically involved in the execution of customer facing application engineering in HVAC or mechanical systems for new products in liquid cooling offerings.
This role can be based out of Syracuse, NY or Charlotte, NC but must be onsite , with travel of up to 25% in the USA and globally.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand applications, characterize problems, and propose solutions through Carrier’s liquid cooling product offering
- Respond to customer requests by leading product selection effort and submitting proposals
- Support new product introduction through development of sales tools & product literature
- Responsible for new product training for sales and service, communicating product and system strategies
- Support pre-sale customer visits (at Carrier factories and field sites) i.e. meet with customers and provide technical presentations
- Lead voice of channel and voice of customer surveys and interviews
- Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, work with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services
- Conduct competitive product and service analysis, and market research of product consumer behavior and professional audience to develop product requirements and specifications
- Collect and track regional / geographical regulatory trends (related to i.e. refrigerants, minimum efficiency, & building codes)
- Set key performance indicators, product and program targets
- Manage new product introduction action tracker
