About Us:
CarrierNet is a dynamic and growing transportation factoring company dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Procurement Team. This position plays a key role in supporting our Account Managers and ensuring the accuracy of our accounts and invoicing processes.
Position Overview:
As a member of Procurement, you will assist Account Managers in the verification of invoices, basic collection work, managing ineligible invoices, and other administrative tasks. Your strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines will be crucial to your success in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist Account Managers with Basic Verification of Invoices
- Review paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Verify invoices via phone and email
- Accurately record each verified account
- Basic Collection Work
- Identify invoices/accounts that need attention
- Follow instructions from Account Managers to focus on specific collection tasks
- Make phone calls and send emails to debtors to check the status of payments
- Accurately document all work performed on invoices
- Assist with Ineligible Invoice Management
- Review Billing emails and determine which invoices need to be marked ineligible
- Communicate with Account Managers for direction on open ineligible invoices
- Contact clients via phone or email to resolve ineligible invoice issues
- Correctly mark invoices as "ineligible" or "cleared"
- Accurately track progress on worked invoices
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Assist with invoicing when needed
- Manage procurement and billing emails as scheduled
- Provide backup support for Account Managers as experience and trust are built
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic with the ability to stay focused and organized

- Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Ability to meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to follow instructions with precision
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in administrative support or accounts management (a plus)
