Summary: The Registrar Technician performs a variety of administrative duties related to the accuracy and retention of student records.
- Administer key student records processes that include FERPA, student registration, course failures and progression, course withdrawals, proof of graduation, satisfactory academic progress, graduation posting, leave of absence and institutional withdrawal
- Process enrollments and enroll students in courses.
- Process grade changes, attendance changes and program changes in compliance with institutional standards
- Maintains accuracy of data input into the student information system.
- Assists in preparing a variety of forms required by current and former students, including enrollment verifications, degree verifications and informational documents.
- Processes requests for official transcripts and processing fees,
- Maintain the internal database by completing periodic data clean up and resolve issues relating to the database information accuracy.

Education and/or Experience – Associate’s degree preferred. Experience working in an educational environment supporting students desirable.

Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
