Description
Machine Operator- Shift 1
Shift 1: 7am-3pm
Hiring minimum is $16.20-17.30 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
This key position requires the efficient and safe operation of a variety of machines on the milling production line. Also requires excellent math skills, mechanical skill, and ability to read and follow customer specifications. Machine operator II does not perform set-ups and requires some supervision/direction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform a variety of tasks, on the milling line, including: cnc, band saw, router, sander, and stacking.
- Follow safety rules, procedures, guidelines, and training given. Recognize and report hazards to designated individual(s). Actively participate in safety program. Practice safe work habits and report accidents/injuries immediately.

Qualifications
Education / Experience:
- Prior machine operation/manufacturing experience preferred
- General knowledge of small hand tools.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
