Under the direction of the Principal, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting in the planning, organization, coordination, administration, and management of assigned school’s daily operations.
Length of contract: Approximately eleven months.

2. Performs any other related duties as assigned by the Principal or other appropriate administrator.

Essential Duties
- Oversee, coordinate and perform day to day office duties
- Prepare and maintain student records and ensure that they are updated regularly
- Perform administrative tasks such as producing letters and bulletins
- Organize school memos and agendas, and notification systems
- Manage the reception area and direct visitors and parents to correct school personnel
- Handle filing and sorting activities
- Relay information to faculty and students using a variety of mediums
- Answer telephone calls and transfer calls to the appropriate recipients
- Maintain daily student attendance reports and attendance records
- Assists with new enrollment of students with classroom assignment and appropriate paperwork.
- Broadcast announcements over the public address systems as needed
- Purchase office supplies as needed
- Supports daily teacher and teacher associate staffing in collaboration with the building principal
- Works with the school principal to establish a safe and secure learning environment for students and staff. Develops plans for emergency situations.
