What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Math Teacher position at Carroll Community School District?
POSITION TITLE: TEACHER
QUALIFICATION: Licensed in Iowa as a teacher
REPORTS TO: Supervising Administrator
POSITION GOAL: Provide a well-planned educational program that meets the individual needs of students in the assigned course of study.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Demonstrates ability to enhance academic performance and support for implementation of the school district’s student achievement goals.
2. Demonstrates competence in content knowledge appropriate to the teaching position.
3. Demonstrates competence in planning and preparing for instruction.
4. Uses strategies to deliver instruction that meets the multiple learning needs of students.
5. Uses a variety of methods to monitor student learning.
6. Demonstrates competence in classroom management.
7. Engages in professional growth.
- Fulfills professional responsibilities established by the school district.
9. Performs other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the Superintendent, Principal, or Designee.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year will be in accordance with the provisions of the Negotiated Agreement.
EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Negotiated Agreement and Board Policy.
