POSITION GOAL: To organize and supervise the activities of the middle school athletic cheerleaders.

POSITION GOAL: To organize and supervise the activities of the middle school athletic cheerleaders.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reads, understands, and follows the rules of the Official High School Cheerleading Guide.
- Is in charge of sending and updating a roster of participating cheerleaders.
- Is in charge of making sure all online forms of cheerleaders are turned in before the first practice date.
- Is in charge of creating a practice schedule and communicating with cheer squad and parents.
- Is in charge of selecting cheerleaders and holding tryouts if needed.
- Is in charge of handing out, collecting, cleaning, and maintenance of uniforms.
- Is in charge of handling any problems within the cheerleading squads and assigning appropriate discipline measures.
- Is in charge of cheerleaders learning and using new cheers for pep assemblies and contests.
- Is in charge of cheerleaders during pep assemblies, activities, and contests.
- Is in charge of arrangements for cheerleading contests.
- Is in charge of fundraising and responsible for the cheerleading account.
- Is in charge of completing requisitions for any necessary purchases.
- Assumes any other appropriate duties as assigned by the activities director.
