Initiate Repair Orders and Purchase Parts for company equipment repair.
Key Performance Indicator: Parts inventory adjustments/Repair shop workflow
Essential Functions
- Transition Driver Write ups to Shop Repair Orders to be assigned to Technicians.
- Issue Purchase Orders to Vendors for Parts needed to operate the Repair Shop, keeping cost and availability a top priority. A sense of urgency is of upmost importance in this Function.
- Track warranty parts picked up by Vendors to ensure timely claim processing.
- Keep up-to-date on all regulatory requirements.
- Help keep shop office and parts area clean and orderly to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist with data entry of competed Repair Orders.
- Immediately ensure units in shop being worked on are in S status and removed from S status upon completion so unit can be dispatched as soon as available.
- Assist during quarterly parts inventory.
Salary : $19 - $22
