Position Summary:
Carroll Seating Company is looking for an experienced construction Estimator / Project Manager to estimate and manage Casework, Custom Millwork and Laboratory projects. This position will be primarily responsible for estimating casework, millwork and lab projects according to plans and specs, but there will be the opportunity to manage a few of them.
Responsibilities as Estimator (80% of the time):
- Review Plans, Specs & Addendums for Scope
- Perform Takeoff for desired Scopes
- Review & Submit RFIs
- Review Scopes with Salesperson
- Request Quotes from Vendors
- Prepare CRM Proposal and Bid Forms for Bid based on Spec & Scopes
- Ensure an accurate and complete project bid
- Follow up on Bids
Responsibilities as Project Manager (20% of the time):
- Manage all aspects of the project from start to completion, including:
- Submittals
- ASIs, PRs, RFIs, etc.
- Pricing / Estimating Changes
- Purchasing
- Schedule & Coordination
- Delivery Inspections
- Resolving Punchlist Items
- Communicating with Project Coordinator and Project Accountant
- Communicating with Customers & Vendors
- Visiting Jobsites & Attend Meetings as necessary
- Manage Job Costs
- Maintain Project Schedule and identify schedule impacts
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time and according to budgets

Qualifications:
- 2 Years of Construction Project Estimating Required
- Experience with Casework/Millwork is Required
- Proficient in reading blueprints / architectural drawings & specifications
- Strong math skills
- Thorough knowledge of the construction process
- Bluebeam Experience a Plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Valid & Unrestricted Driver’s license required & reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
