Job Title: Part-Time Sales Lead Generator
About the Job: Carroll Water is seeking a highly motivated and organized Part-Time Sales Lead Generator to join our team of creative and engaging employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new leads, as well as qualifying and passing on potential sales opportunities to our sales team. Our Sales Lead Generators act as Brand Ambassadors at our partner businesses by answering customer questions about our products and services and then encouraging them to schedule an appointment for estimates on these services. The ideal candidate for this role will enjoy engaging people in conversation and be driven by commission and incentives.

Founded in 1983 by Ron Smith. Ron’s goal was to provide Carroll County, Maryland with clean drinking water. After many years building Carroll Water in 2015 his son, Brian, purchased the company. Brian worked in the company since he was 12 years old. Since acquiring the company Brian’s vision has continued to surpass all expectations, acquiring Harr Well Drilling in 2016 and Jones Well Drilling in 2022, to make Carroll Water a leader in the Water Treatment and Well Drilling industry.
About the Role: You will help distinguish our company with professionalism, best practices customer service that build customer loyalty. Among the responsibilities of the role are:

Engage customers in conversations about their home water treatment needs

Explain features and benefits of the various products and services while soliciting information from the customers on their individual needs

Build rapport and relationships with the store’s leadership team

Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically

Generate high volume of appointments from the kiosk within a store. The amount of lead generation required will be determined with your manager.

Must be able to travel city wide to store locations
About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Prior experience working in retail is highly desired but not required.

Required to be standing/walking for 4-8 hours at a time.

Must be outgoing, energetic, and self-motivated

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Must have reliable transportation

Must have the ability to use a smartphone for email and text messaging

Water treatment experience is a plus, but not required.
