Carrollwood Farms, an affiliate of The Carroll Companies, is a family estate farm encompassing 5,000 acres in Stokes and Rockingham Counties, North Carolina. We operate in various segments, including agriculture and hospitality. Our employment opportunities include vegetable farming, grounds maintenance, livestock, and hospitality.
Position Overview:
Carrollwood Farms seeks individuals to stack, stain, and bundle lumber for our fencing operations. This role combines hands-on work, attention to detail, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Additional labor tasks may be required such as clean staining, construction, gardening, and grading areas and equipment as well as assisting as a laborer for various teams when extra help is needed.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure work is executed according to instructions, while exceeding safety regulations.
- Ensuring optimal performance, cleanliness, and safety of the work site.
- Enforce Carrollwood Farms' high standards of workmanship and implement best work practices.
- Work closely with management and other teams to achieve company goals.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, and other relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, part-time
- Weekend hours and full-time options possible in the future
