We are excited to search and bring on a new team member in our Restaurant Accounting department and we are currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join our team.
Summary :
The Staff Accountant will collect and audit Restaurant sales, inventory, cash and other tender to ensure the information is properly posted to the financials and performance report review analysis. Assist in Advertising / Royalty processing.
Summary of Key Job Responsibilities :
- Perform analysis of weekly inventory reports and call / e-mail Restaurant Managers or District Managers if fluctuations / issues are occurring, in conjunction with monitoring on a daily basis the accuracy of postings of inventory counts, all inventory receipts / transfers, and postings of raw / menu waste.
- Complete and distribute weekly and monthly internal reports.
- Make adjustments at month end to inventory for posting errors or receiving issues via journal entries.
- Correct and process inter-unit transfers.
- Make proper journal entries at month end to record entries within the proper fiscal period.
- Perform monthly review of performance reports and assist the Restaurant Accounting staff in research for adjustments.
- Assist with Adv / Roy Epay daily review and making rate adjustments in PS as needed.
- Additional Duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications :
The hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 hourly depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
