The HR Generalist supports the Human Resources Department by performing administrative tasks for the Sr. Manager of Corporate Human Resources and the Human Resources staff. This position also serves to establish, build and maintain partnerships with community organizations to provide financial support.
Summary of Key Job Responsibilities :
- Conflict Resolution Program- handle all phone calls & emails received from employees who want to file complaints. Document conversations, prepare emails and reports in EthicsPoint and distribute to appropriate personnel for follow up and resolution.
- Assist in all employee relation matters as directed by the Sr. Manager of Human Resources
- Information Subpoenas- respond to all information subpoenas and other requests for employment information, ensuring timely deadlines are met.
- Employee Relations : Dollars for Doers, Food Bank Matching Gift Program.
- Employee Tuition Reimbursement, Service Award pins, and coordinate annual Service Award Dinner.
- Maintain HR Policies on company intranet.
- Open, sort and distribute department mail
- Maintain Field Termination files.
- Day One Orientation facilitation and pre new employee support.
- Information Subpoenas- respond to all information subpoenas and other requests for employment information, ensuring timely deadlines are met.
- Employment Verification
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Create queries according to user specifications within PeopleSoft.
- Develop visualizations to present data in an easily understandable format.
- Identify opportunities, recommend, and implement action plans for improvement in the data sets and reports utilized within the department.
- Weekly and month-end reporting for corporate and field teams.
- Document, deliver, and administer training and related materials to end users.
- Gather data from HRIS about jobs, compensation, gender, ethnicity, recruiting, etc.
- Measure and analyze data into meaningful reports for HR and other leadership.
- Ensure compliance of labor laws within the sates we operate
- Ensure compliance and maintain records of Carrols' pre-employment drug screening policy and background checks
- Communicate company policy and understanding thereof. Write directives advising of company policy regarding Equal Employment Opportunities, compensation and employee benefits.
- Oversee the analysis, maintenance and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization
